So I picked up the 601 Blue label because so many folks are saying it is a great stick...man I had no idea. Pre-lite draw was a tab loose but that's ok. Construction was beautiful smooth and leathery with a big ring gauge. Fire it up and instand spice and a bunch of it...at the same time it is very sweet like a deep black cherry nectar sweetness....it wedges a bit on me but bounces right back...half way through and I am buzzing big time...this dude is very strong...I gotta sit is down for a sec and sip some rum to compose myself...I finish it off and damn was it good...this stick hit me hard! I think I have found one of my new favorites from the Pepin line! If you like the JJ maduro (which was my favorite Pepin stick) please do yourself a favor and try the 601 Blue label...it kicks the JJ maduros azz!
