That is a little too over-the-top.
I can see using infamy to market a product, but he could've done it in a way that is not a slap in the face to those who you'd like as a customer.
He could've just used his notoriety and made it a regular cigar with a regular brand name. There's plenty of room for new products and brands in the NC space, but you have to have a pulse on where the industry is going and what is needed/lacking in this space.
A simple "I did ABC and went to prison... and learned my lesson. From that experience, I created (fill_in_the_blank) cigars, blah blah blah..."
I think they missed their mark... 60 ring gauge cigars are so like 5-6 years ago...
