Honestly I would reccomend a cooler. Cheap and many seal well.
Not much of a presentation however.
You might consider trying to just use a clear odorless silicone to seal the glass and a foam seal to seal the opening on the one you have. You should be able to do a mediocre job without any tools or much time.
