The really scary thing is, back in high school I was in Junior Achievement, and one of our advisors (he worked for the repo department of a local big time bank) drove a Toyota Hi-Lux with this set-up. To work the horn he had a flathead screwdriver that he shorted the contacts with. It was impressive to ride with him in traffic and see him at work.
