Ron, I just look at manual exposure the way you likely would. I sit down in the chair I use by the window where I shoot
the birds and stuff, I look at the general conditions, set my ISO about where I think it will want to be, then set my aperture
to give me a little room for errors in focusing, then pick a shutter speed and fire off a shot. My mental idea of what it SHOULD
be set up like is usually a half a stop off up or down. I either bump the ISO or see if I have any shutter speed left to bleed off.
It is a LOT more intuitive than you'd imagine. Especially since we are not shooting film. The focus ain't so bad either. The LCD
gets me right where I need to be on the setup.
