So yesterday I read this thread and when I saw MCS say it was a silly idea I thought to myself,

"Self? There is no way this is going any farther, I mean the local authority on all things silly has deemed this one sillier than a monkey on a rock wearing a tin oil hat eating banana cream pie!"

So I buried the memory of my Momīs family burying jarred unripened corn mash in the Army ammo cans sealed with cosmoline three feet down during the hot Mississippi summers for the same reason.

Will it work? If you seal correctly and keep the sticks in a water resistant packaging yeah it will work.

Is it worth 36 hours of digging, putting it together, burying and sealing?

Well, that depends on what kind of man you are!

Ha ha ha, Iīm sorry, I just think this would be a very cool project although it would probably end up being more economical and efficient with a cooler and some beads however it would be something that hasnt been done here yet.
