Atkins and Paleo are similar. The main difference is that Atkins limits the amounts of fruits and vegetables you should eat where with paleo vegetables should be a major part of what you eat. The other difference is that with Atkins there is no attention paid to the quality of food that you eat, where with paleo it should be minimally processed. If you can't tell if it came from a plant or animal you probably shouldn't eat it. The Atkins group as a line of protein bars and bottled beverages, paleo has that too they're chicken legs and filtered water.
