Let me first start off by saying I fully agree that search is your friend and that there is a ton of great information to be found by using the tool.

Let me flip the coin............this is a forum..........a centre for discussion and interaction not just a repository of useful (and useless) information. So if all new people ever did was use the search then very quickly there would be nothing on the new post page (a button I use about every 15 seconds) but banter and bomb updates............ok that is in the extreme but the point is still somewhat valid...........I think.

I also think that often if a question is brought up..................or re brought up (how is that for murder of the English language) that it may bring something new to the light of day or a different viewpoint than what might be embedded in search. In the grand scheme of things if we don't wish to respond to a question that has been posed time and time again we can easily move on to the next thread.

Now again I mentioned earlier I agree with search, I often use it to point out threads to people that may have missed it and tell them to go there for some great information.

Hmmmmmmmmmm seems to me I have posted something like this before............I should have searched it (tongue firmly planted in cheek)

Oh my, then. Nevermind.
