Wow... small world.
One of my good friends posted on her facebook that she was at the vets in Florida with her dog when someone walked in with one of those puppies!
Told the story of the shepherd mother being hit by a car. Some of the puppies were trying to nurse as she laid dying. (very sad)
According to her (from the vet), now 9 of the 11 have been adopted out.
Good for you and your gf. Hope the pup does well.
