More good news...
Ron at the Honda shop called. He fixed my speedo and a problem with my lights.
He chased the ignition problem, and that one is gonna cost me. It was the ignition module. He said in all the years he's done this, he's never seen one go bad, nor has he ever ordered one.
The whole ordeal will probably cost around 500 bucks. That's pretty cheap to put my mind to rest.
