I don't have experience with the Speed Triple, but I did get to ride an 06 Daytona prior to buying buying my 06 gsxr600. It was a sweeet bike (pretty quiet), but the only reason I didn't buy Triumph was because of the lack of dealerships to bring it to if I ever had a problem. I would have had to drive almost 100 miles to get to the closest dealer. The was the only drawback for me, but it was enough not to buy it. I would go for it if I was you and have a dealership close by. What year and size is your gsxr?
Good luck and if you haven't driven one yet I recommend you do prior to buying. If they won't let you leave and go to another dealership.
