Congrats Brotha. We have our first coming in November. We couldn't be anymore excited.
My wife wasn't too bad with the rushing to get the nursery ready but since finding out what the sex was last week she has been on fire. I went from knowing in the back of my mind that I would have to paint the room that is to become the nursery and get baby furniture to now replacing the carpet in the only two rooms downstairs with carpet, finally paint the foyer and stairwell and landing upstairs, convert the living room to a play room which includes building a window seat in the bay window, building a shelving system for the one wall in that room and now we are no longer going with a solid paint color in the nursery and now I am installing chair rail with one color up top and stripes in the lower portion. So be prepared. It may seem all calm at first but eventually she will start cracking the whip on you.
