As for me, I don't feel comfortable giving away cigars somebody gave me, especially if they are ones I don't want to smoke myself. From your question, I surmise you tend to feel the same. But there are exceptions. For instance, a few years ago I was working with a college kid who wanted some smokes for his buddies to mooch. So I gave him a bagful of dogrockets, while making sure he knew that was exactly what they were. He was fine with that, and thus so was I.
