I like Guiness, I do. I really don't understand folks who say it's heavy but I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that I lean towards much more heavy beers than Guiness. If I want to lighten up, I'll move to Guiness.
No joke. I guess it's the same with cigars. If I'm used to full-bodied cigars, then the lesser-bodied ones will taste light.
I may have mentioned this brand already much earlier on in this thread but man oh man. I just found a couple bottles of the Russian River Brewing Co's
PLINY THE ELDER at the Beverage Warehouse out in Culver City/Marina Del Rey and snatched them out of the cooler (they require refrigeration).
I can usually only find this on tap occasionally at one of my favorite bars at the Redondo Beach Pier (Naja's Place where they have 77 beers on tap and another 623 elsewhere). Last time I was there, they didn't have it.
I popped one of my two open last night at dinner and man, oh man, oh man.....this is my favorite beer right now.
