The new Netbook Bootmaker method is a lot better. I actually used the DellEFI method for mine but I just built another one for a friend yesterday and it was much easier. There are a lot of new kexts out too that really help. The only issue I have is the occasional hang on restart after sleep.
I couldn't be happier with my Mini 9 running os x.
I would run Ubuntu Netbook Remix on a Netbook before I ran XP (although I did dual boot OS X and XP for a bit but never really used XP).
