Here's a bit of Jimmy Page before he found smack.
After about 20 years of heroin, he just got better and better. I watched him do a solo while he played with Paul Rogers once. It was at the Civic Arena in Burgh.
He was about as big as a toothpick, hitting it so hard that snot flew out of his nose and put his cigarette out.
Never missed a note.
He just got better.
He's got more range and more style and more mood than anyone I can think of. He made the guitar do things that just can't be duplicated.
I love Stevie Ray, Clapton, Beck, Satriani, Jimi, but none of them can touch Jimmy.
