I like to dry box my cigars before I smoke them. This especially helps with lanceros. If it doesn't draw well pre-light, then the cigar doesn't get torched. You might not be able to save cigars that are rolled like tent pegs, but it can help for some that are on the tighter side.
Here's what I like:
Opus PL - they're on the pricier side, but I can't ever recall smoking a Fuente with a construction problem.
Tatuaje Especiales - these are tasty treats.
