Certainly they should not be "untouchable", incidental contact and the like should not lead to a goalie interference penalty...but straight out "fair game"? No way.

I agree completely, and not just because my kid is a goalie! Incidental contact is just that. Incidental. Not on purpose. If they take a run at him, they should be penalized. In my opinion, harshly penalized.

There isn't anyone who is fair game other than someone skating up the ice with the puck on their stick, and their head down.
