My son had a baseball tournament in Charleston, SC this week so I spent a few days there with my wife and managed to find a big bottle of Rogue Ruination IPA. Never had it before, but holy crap this stuff was good!
Now I'm on a mission back here in Richmond!
The tricky thing was that I broke the lip of the bottle when taking off the cap. Didn't know how much glass got in the bottle, but dammit it--I was determined to drink this thing! So I looked around the hotel room and had to use a little ingenuity--emptied out a Tazo tea bag (Earl Gray) and used it to filter the beer into 3 highball glasses they give you in the room. Damn that was good beer, and well worth the little shards of glass that might have bypassed my makeshift filter
