It really does a nice job of protecting the band, and you can still see the embossing. This shot was taken through the lamination, showing how nicely it turns out. The pouches themselves warp a bit, but it's better than the alternative of having a bunch of bands scattered about. This makes 'em easy to show to friends, and it's impervious to beer spillage.
