No so much last night, but finishing 12-7 in March/April. Avs were playing solid hockey towards the end, just buried themselves at the start of the season.
That said, the Avs finished 3-2 overall vs Chicago, winning 3 straight. Like the season, started soft & finished strong....
Learning season for this bunch. Losing EJ during what started as a career season & MacKinnon didn't help. I think the Avs had their most games lost to injury in the history of their franchise. No excuses, that's part of the game. Both EJ and Mac were healthy when they were losing at the start of the season.
