Yours is probably similar to mine. What you just did was tell your hygro that 65=75 when you hit the button.
That button is to calibrate it to 75%, not to reset. It sounds like yours is off about 10% which would make your RH a very comfy 64%.
Do the salt test and re-calibrate... if you havent changed your battery in a while, now would be a good time too, so you dont have to re-recalibrate.
