This is the reason that most experienced smokers will tell you that their cigar mantra is something like, "smoke what you like, like what you smoke."

There are plenty of time in the past where I have pulled out a "got to" smoke that wasn't tasting right, or canoeing, or draw was off, etc. I pitch 'em if I can and only try to fix the draw problems if I'm in the mood.

Now mind you, I also try to figure out what exactly the problem is. If I can re-clip the head or shorten the cigar and get something worth smoking, well, then I go for it.
