Good choice. I would avoid circular fisheye lenses in general. Instead look into a wide angle lens that wont distort the picture immensely. Somewhere in the 14mm-17mm range on the short side would wrk well. Canons 17-40mm ƒ4 is reasonably priced and great quality.
What it comes down to is choosing the lens for what you shoot the most.
