I would use the 33 bucks and browse the common online retailers (famous, ci, cbid etc)
Cigar monster will normally have samplers for less than 30 bucks with free shipping. Shop around and you can build your own bigger samplers for the same if not less.
Also like mentioned the newbie sampler trade is a great place to start.
