Keith, it seems to me that the defendent had an airtight case, and his wife none at all, if I accept your report as legitimate.

In France, she would have been "mon amore", but "mi amor" implies the husband was in Italy, and thus could not have fulfilled his proper marital duties due to geographical distance . . . unless he was remarkably well-endowed.
