Had a tooth break off near the gum last week, before the 4th. Set it up to be extracted after the 4th, so I could eat BBQ. Got it cut out Tuesday afternoon. Wedged tightly, even the oral surgeon thanked me for the challenge. Not off pain meds yet, but I am down to the heavy stuff at night, and non-prescription pain pills rest of time. No smoking for the next 3-5 weeks, it appears.

Not a plea for sympathy. But a health tip is in order:

Keep your teeth in good shape so you won't miss out on smoking days!!
