The only other solution I can think of would be to raise the temperature in your home. That would lower the rH or keep your thermostat the same but keep the blinds open so sun comes in to heat up the room. That would give the water in the air more time to condense, the more time the water has to condense the less of an affect it will have on the rH in the room.

Or just buy a dehumidifier and that would for sure solve your problem.
