Forgot to post that I bought my wife one during the first week. I sold her old one on eBay and it actually got a pretty decent price. All in all I paid about $50 out of pocket for her new iPad 2.
The new jailbreak is still a bit buggy, but I'm waiting for the untethered one from the Dev Team.
EDIT - also, for the jailbreak crowd, the app TruPrint let's you print wirelessly to almost every wireless printer out there
