From what I read Dave the Mets.......I mean Wilpons (sorry Mac
) are not broke.
The problem they have is that most of their money is not liquid and is tied up in Real Estate.
If they need cash, they have to sell a building, and that takes time.
It is possible that creditors will simply seize their real estate holdings.
