Re: Android, IPhone, Blackberry what should I get?
I don't know squat about cricket except they used to be pre-pay only.
I have the Droid X, it's screen is HUGE. The phone itself is pretty big, but slim. I have gotten used to it. My wife has the Droid2 and it's screen looks small compared to the X.
My kid has a Storm2, I used to carry the Storm, it now seems TOO small!
I think the iPhone will compare in size to the DroidX, maybe even a little smaller. Both have wi-fi (as does the Storm2 and Droid2).
I have been a Verizon zombie forever so I can't comment on other carriers, but after all the phones I have gone through in the last several years (mostly Blackberries) I think I would never leave the Android phones now.
Good Luck!
(EDIT)
Verizon has a device that pairs with your phone to share internet connections. So if you don't have wi-fi, you can use this and give your netbook wi-fi from your phone (but of course it is an additional fee per month)
