Re: College Hoops Thread '10-'11
I've got much too much to cover, and much too little time, so . . .
Last night:
BYU 90 - Buffalo 82 = Maybe this tells you why I've been saying all along I have little faith in the Cougars.
UCF 68 - Princeton 62 = I knew the Tigers would keep this close.
Villanova 78 - Temple 74 = And as I told Keith, I'd give 'Nova the slight edge.
I could give a dozen more, but there's no time. So . . .
Today already, Purdue stomped Northwestern 82-69, Kentucky beat Louisville 78-63, and that Charleston team I keep telling you is no damn cupcake crushed Tennessee 91-78. In progress are many others, including St. Joe's/Siena, UCLA/Wash., and Minn./Mich. State. Maybe I can get back with finals. Others good ones are:
Florida vs. Xavier
Texas A&M vs. McNeese State
U. Conn vs. South Florida
Ohio State vs. Indiana
On New Year's Day:
West Virginia vs. Marquette
Georgetown vs. DePaul
Valparaiso vs. Butler
New Mexico vs. Dayton
Syracuse vs. Notre Dame
Boston College vs. South Carolina
St. John's vs. Providence
On Sunday 1/2/11:
Villanova vs. Rutgers
Gonzaga vs. Wake Forest
Memphis vs. Tennessee State
UNC vs. St. Francis PA
Penn State vs. Michigan
Marshall vs. St. Bonaventure
Vanderbilt vs. Davidson
LSU vs. Virginia
Illinois vs. Wisconsin
Charlotte vs. Georgia Tech
Kansas vs. Miami OH
Duke vs. Miami FL
California vs. Stanford
I'd love to give my usual commentaries on these, but hey . . . you try working in a liquor store on New Year's Eve, and when the MegaMillions jackpot is about $250M. Sheesh, will these people stop handing me money and just go the fark home?
Enjoy your games, and have a great New Year's. If not sooner, I'll be back Monday.
