Default Sikk's Payne-Mason Review

This was given to me by my next door neighbor when he found out I was into cigars. I personally know about nothing as far as this cigar goes, but it appears to be a botique company. So bare with me.

Brand: Payne-Mason
Name: Golf Classic Churchill Golden (Glass Tube)
Size: Churchill 7" x 48
MSRP: $15.50
Wrapper: Connecticut

Cutter: Xi2
Lighter: Ronson

Wrapper Shade: Light Brown
Cap: very nice triple cap
Veins: very few medium size
Oil: light
Imperfections: three small cracks at the foot
Draw: tight, it needed a poke
PreLight Flavor: Hay

First Third
Appearance: 9/10
Construction: 7/10
Burn Quality: 10/10
Taste: 14/20
Total: 80/100
Flavors: hay, light white pepper, slight nutty
Notes: burn was purfect, taste was ok but light

Second Third
A: 9/10
C: 7/10
BQ: 10/10
T: 16/20
To: 82/100
Flavor: nutty flavor turned to milk chocolate, and pepper flavor turned to ceder

Final Third
A: 9/10
C: 7/10
BQ: 10/10
T: 12/20
To: 78/100
Flavor: chocolate turned to dark, slight cinamin breifly, but mostly harsh tobacco

OverAll: 80/100

Light to medium body, the middle was pretty good, but it was slow to get there and the last two inches were over powered by the tobacco flavor.

*Yes, I was watch a Married With Children Christmas episode
