Walt, I agree with you to a certain extent. It is an overall bigger cigar, but you're right that if it's being touted as the same cigar just a different size, it would be hard to justify the price increase.
Now having said that, I only got a 5'er of the Tenderloins and I wish I had bought three bundles. The fact that I have the opportunity to get the same blend in a different size is worth every penny to me  I realize that's not going to be the case for everybody, but it is for me. |
I'm not negating anything about this stick. The PT is
the cigar that the locals that got some, are using as the measuring stick by which they judge all other smokes that have come after it...in regards to flavor, price and overall value. I'd cheerfully spend another couple of bucks for a bigger version of the same stick. Actually...PT singles sold for $10 a stick.
The Viaje reference I used was meant as a comparison to the justified price difference between one size stick to another.
