I am looking into purchasing one. have a deal worked out. etx cab "medium" box with the 5.3 6 speed auto. z71 package. Should I be wary of anything. I know I do not want the 6.2 due to the piston slap issues that they have. only thing I don't like about the truck is a the 3.08 rear end, but the family already has a 2009 gmc 3500 dual for towing purposes so it really doesn't make it a deal breaker.
