CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks will receive their Stanley Cup rings at a private gathering on Wednesday, a person familiar with the event said.

Kris Versteeg is expected to be the only former Hawk in attendance, as the Toronto Maple Leafs are allowing him to attend, the source said.

The Stanley Cup, recently engraved with the names of players and key members of the organization, will also be at the event. Versteeg's name was originally misspelled on the Cup, but was quickly corrected.

Former general manager and senior adviser Dale Tallon's name is also on the Cup. Tallon is currently GM of the Florida Panthers.
