I use to really like Zino Mouton Cadet cigars. Haven't had one 25 years. How are they now?

Re: Humidor options in hot apartment

If your apartment is that hot; keep them sealed & put in the fridge. They'll need to be sealed or they'll dry out in a day or two.

Shimano make nice stuff too. I see the difference between...

Neat to revive this thread. Picked up a BMC with Campy Chorus 11 and DT Swiss wheels. Love the bike. Very short wheelbase and some pedal overlap, but am use to it now.

Re: Mokapots, Moka, or Stovetop Espresso, Period.

I go through cycles where I am hot for new grinder and start checking craigs list for fancier grinders. The fancier Rancilio and Mazer go for a nice discount used. The good grinders are truly life...

Re: Italian and Cuban Coffee

Mokapot is the style. Also called stove top espresso maker. Bialeti is the most common brand.

Neapolitan is similar but quite different in how it's brewed.

Re: Nat Sherman cigars are no more....

Nat Sherman is just one an ever increasing list of names that formed NYC's retail and cultural history closing.

It will soon be just chains stores and nothing iconic & unique left to the City.

Re: What's in your smoker?

You can almost not over-spice the blend, so go heavy on the seasoning. Like half tablespoon per piece of chicken and one garlic clove per piece. Ginger would be about 1/3-1/2 the amount of garlic.
