I used to work with a guy who brought in 1 big machine made Churchill every day. He’d step outside, take a few puffs and put it back in its tube. Lasted all day and the smell made me want to retch!

You just want a container that’s reasonably air tight. You could use a ziplock style bag, a big mason jar, a coffee can...

It’s gonna take quite a while (weeks) to get everything stabilized....

They are calling the deadband the temperature differential. If you decrease it, you may also need to adjust the short cycle delay, since you are making the cycles shorter.

The Boveda pacs have their uses, but the rate that water evaporates from them is slowed down by having to go through the packaging. If the issue is to rapidly supply moisture, I’d use a clean sponge....
