Very wise words there. I would only add that try new cigars at your leisure and I usually try to avoid the reviews till after I have smoked it so I can form my own opinion.

I would say its all about taste then budget. Special occasion cigars IMHO should be something in your wheel house flavor wise and then budget wise. If you enjoy light to medium body/flavor cigars...
