Re: Am I the only one that....

I didn't think I had any, but checking the photo inventory of my stash, I spotted one. It's floating around somewhere at the bottom of my coolador. It's a Tatuaje Verocu-Exclusivo Zona Del Este (East...

Re: 5 Cigars That Will Prove You Are A Man

I guess I must be a real man. I didn't realize this until I saw the photos, but I smoked the LFD Chisel at a herf just a couple of weeks ago. Then followed up with a Oliva O perfecto right after. I...

Re: a thread from the balcony

We cigar smokers sure are a resourceful bunch, aren't we? If someone happened to be watching, I'm sure they would be wondering WTF??

Re: Tips For Smoking Outside In The Winter?

Layers upon layers. Take care of the extremities. They cool down the fastest. Expect the wrapper to crack. Just part of the deal. Shorter smokes for sure. Smaller ring gauges as well. Pick your...

In the spirit of the season that just passed, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks (or maybe curses) to all of my American BOTL's (haven't yet traded with any SOTLs) for going the extra mile...

Re: Man O' War

:tpd:
They are good with some age on them for sure. Not worth the MSRP but if you can get them on a deal, they are good value.
Here's an interesting sampler...

Re: How often do you purge (say a robusto)?

I would say that I purge only about 25% of the cigars I smoke. Most don't need to. And if they do, it's almost always when it's near the end. I'll do it most often on a cigar that I've been really...

Re: Canadian Dark Side Poll- with actual poll

Hey, I know there's a lot more Canadians that frequent this forum. Last I checked there were at around 75 of us. I'm sure that at least half of that amount has ordered some cc's in the last year....

Trying to gather up as much data on this as possible. I recently had an issue with my shipment from overseas. The parcel came with a surprise to the tune of almost 300% more than original cost.
So...

Re: Mad as heck at a retailer

Wow! Unbelievable!
Funny, I recently tried a "Duque" cigar I got in a sampler from a BOTL and rather liked it. Must be a house brand for them, I guess.
Any thoughts of ordering from these guys is...

Re: My worst cigar..so far.

:tpd:
I bought a box of them over a year ago. Most have been fine, but the odd one was harsh and some had burn issues. However, after 7 or 8 months on them, they improved immensly. I'm really...

Re: For Canadians Ordering from Overseas

I think the issue here is whether we are hurting the supplier. When a parcel comes in with an exhorbitant fee, you have two choices. Pay up, or refuse the parcel. But refusing a parcel is not the...
