Re: WTF is wrong with people?

Why pay $10 to see a movie, when a thread like this can one minute send my blood pressure through the roof in anger, and then, with news like this, restore my faith that somehow, some way, mankind is...

Re: Hello, newbie here/first pipe purchase

Looks good - it's hard to go wrong with a stanwell. The military mount is useful too.

Re: Bleaching a Cooler

You might be able to get out the soapy smell by wiping down the inside with a paper towel soaked in isopropyl alcohol. I have not done this with plastic but it works with glass...worth a shot since...

Re: Same Shape Pipes

I have considered getting another Pete XL13/Baker Street, it's such a nice shape. It is pretty similar to the 150, but a little more upright looking.

BTW, the 150 is a bulldog not a rhodesian. ;)

Re: Favorite ring, what do you like to smoke?

42-50. I love robustos. 52 is starting to push it, unless it is a torpedo, or just a really good cigar that I happen to have found a deal on in that size. 56-60RG is only fun once in a long while,...

Re: How long would your cigars last during a zombie apocalypse?

At the current smoking rate, probably a year and a half. Pipe tobacco, on the other hand, about 10. :D

Sam Gawith in Stock at P&C.com

Bulk only: http://pipesandcigars.com/sagabuto.html

I'm going to wait and see if anyone else gets it in because of ridiculous NY tobacco taxes, but ya'll have at it!

Re: Thumbs up to UncleBeanz.com

It's just priority mail, they use those sort of cube shaped priority mail boxes and it costs like $6 or whatever to ship. If I get 2 bags (they are all 12 oz I think) it comes to like 15 a bag for...

Re: Thumbs up to UncleBeanz.com

Not to harp on this, but my coffee came and inside was a ziplock bag with a note on it saying "Thank you for your patience. Enjoy a fine smoke on me. -UB" Inside was a very nice cigar. What a...

Re: Thumbs up to UncleBeanz.com

I've tried a few - mostly regular coffee beans and one of the espresso beans. I really like the Santa Rita, the Puerto Rican is good, as is the Negrita. I would probably rank them in that order as...

Thumbs up to UncleBeanz.com

So unclebeanz was recommended to me by a certain bovine forum member recently, and I've been enjoying their coffee thoroughly. It beats the other locally roasted stuff that I can get down the street...

Re: St. Patricks Day

Drinking some o'hara's red and a full belly of Shepherd's pie that my girlfriend made. It's a good day to be Irish!

Re: Whats in your bowl?
