Re: Alcohol on the cruise...

Well thanks for all the pointers guys. I've done some reading on cruisecritic and other sites. Does checked luggage actually get searched or x-rayed? I just can't handle paying 30 dollars for an 8...

Gents,

I've already posted about picking up CCs on our Western Caribbean cruise (Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Isla Roatan, Belize) but as I continue reading about things on the internet I see people...

God those look delicious. I wish my B&M had some. Great first box purchase. My one and only so far was a box of Sancho Panza Double Maduros.

Re: Sam Adams Seasonals

The Winter Lager is one of my favorite mass produced beers as well. Very tasty. I have a few bottles of Oktoberfest left in the fridge--also good, but I think the Winter Lager wins the contest there.

Thanksgiving Dinner Wines

So I saw the Thanksgiving Dinner Beer thread but nothing about wine.

Any suggestions for types of wine to buy for Thanksgiving? My mom asked me to pick up the beer and wine, with no further...

Re: So I've talked the girlfriend into smoking wit

Thanks for the advice. I'll ease her in on the Javas and maybe an Acid or two. Then I'll move onto some of the others mentioned. This will finally give me a really good reason to place an order with...

So I've talked the girlfriend into smoking with me

My girlfriend has recently been introduced to smoking cigars (by me of course). She likes the CAO Flavors line, and Kahlua cigars. However, she wants to try something stronger. Any suggestions on...

Re: Post-marathon Cigar

Hah definitely wasn't clear with this one. Contrary to how it may seem I will not be smoking immediately after the marathon. I simply meant next week sometime, once my body has recovered a bit. This...

Post-marathon Cigar

So... It is Wednesday. In 3 days, 12 hours, and 30 minutes I'll start on my second Marine Corps Marathon. I've stayed away from alcohol and cigars over the past few weeks and I'm looking to break my...

Re: First Firearm Thread.

Comptac MTAC Holster is amazing. I can conceal my 19 in a plain white tshirt. I also bought a Wilderness Instructor Belt and that makes all the difference. As some other posters have said--a good...

www.glocktalk.com

www.10mmtalk.com

Those are some of my favorites--ar15armory being my #1

Re: Done!

Thanks everyone. Yeah I've had some great SNCOs so far, one GySgt and a MSgt in particular, but the SNCOs on staff at OCS were fantastic. I can't wait to work with guys like that in the future. I'll...

Done!

I finished up at Officer Candidates School yesterday on an unusually cool morning in Quantico. The family and girlfriend came up which was great. Yeah it was only six weeks, but that was six weeks...

Re: My 4th of July will be better than yours...

Hah, I have no illusions about my intelligence/experience. ROTC kids (like me) do one 6 week stint at OCS. No enlisted time, although I debated a long time before I committed to ROTC. So, I'll do...

My 4th of July will be better than yours...

Not. I leave for Officer Candidate School in Quantico tomorrow. The Marine Corps will be keeping me company for the next 6 weeks. I'll stop by when I get back on August 13.

Happy early...

Re: The Paddling Thread

Sick video on that link. 186 feet is ridiculous.

Went ocean kayaking last summer in Maine for the first time--it was awesome. So, at the Outerbanks in NC a few weeks ago my family rented a kayak...

Re: First personal firearm thread

Glock 19. Not a better handgun in the world for all around use. I prefer 9mm as well thanks to modern bullet/powder technology. Yeah it is only a .3 inch hole, but when the HP expands you can get...

Re: Sancho Panza Double Maduro... great first box

Yup... that first box is almost gone. I refuse to believe there is a better cigar out there for the money. No way.

And yeah I had read that about Estelo Padron--that is a different "Padron" then...

Re: illusione cg:4

I want to try one of these sooo bad. I wish my B&M carried more of the smaller brands like Illusione. We needs Tats too. I feel left out of all the good stuff. Great review though, it made me want A)...

Sancho Panza Double Maduro... great first box

So my first box purchase was the Sancho Panza Double Maduro in the La Mancha size. I like RGs just under 50 so these Petit Coronas fit the bill. I purchased them for a friend's commissioning party...
