Re: Silound's Dog-Rocket Review Challenge!

I love borndead1's reviews.... unfortunately for him I am hoping that his remaining sticks get progressively worse, because it seems the worse the cigar is, the funnier the reviews get and you get...

Re: I need advice about developing this bead thing

Hooray for the cottage industry! :D

This is good for me, because I feel closer to figuring out my final storage arrangements after much fussing... beads were always part of the plan.

Re: Brand Cigars?

Still looking forward to this. I'd go and buy my own sampler of these, but my budget keeps going out the window... plus it's tax season.

Hmm, I'll have to see if there are any reviews floating...

Re: Would you try human flesh?

Soylent Green anyone? :D

No, I wouldn't, mostly because it's people, and partially because old tough cows and chickens make horrible eating, and if it died of disease you shouldn't eat it, and if...

Re: Fuente boxes

I have a box for Fuente Chateaus that was really warped when it was sitting out. Once humidified it's better, but still warped about 1/2".

It's probably nothing like a WOAM box though, this one...

Re: Good small cigars

Partagas Black Prontos. Full bodied taste in a little stick.
Second on the Padron Corticos too.

Re: La Primadora?

I bought a bundle of lancero maduros on a whim because it was super cheap. The taste OK and has maduro notes. I could maybe see the potential of these if they were aged. I've only had one so far...

Re: Legend - don lino Africa

I had a robusto (Duma) the other night. I noticed the wrapper had this overwhelming but pleasant smell of dried fruit and molasses. Not something I've encountered before. Beautiful construction. ...

Re: Completely tasteless, yet hilarious movies.

THANK YOU! I love those movies. My friends and I almost wet ourselves laughing at Cliff O'Malley's hijinks.

1.) Dumb and Dumber
2.) Bad Santa
3.) Super Troopers
4.) Superbad
5.) Grandma's...

Re: Taken

I saw this last night and liked it. Not an amazing movie, and predicable, but action packed and satisfying to watch.

I'm not the first one to make a comparison to Man on Fire with Denzel...

Re: is it wrong to withold a source?

My personal call is that it would be a situation-dependant thing.

If the source is nothing special and exclusive access isn't an issue, then sure, why not?

If the source is something exclusive...

Re: Ever Known A Bigger Jerk?

Is this guy for real? He seems so over-the-top sadistically sociopathic I can't help but wonder if this is an act or some kind of really twisted publicity stunt. That little voice in the...

Re: The Longest Joke in the World

I'll bring the beer.

Some of the train of thought parts vaguely remind me of Stephen King novel for some reason.... and just because it's the longest joke, there is no guarantee that it...

Re: DR Monte #2 Knock-Offs

Wow, those look pretty awful.... not only are the bands horribly made and applied, the foots of the cigars are cut unevenly too.

PLUS they're eaten to shreds.... total disaster. :hn

Re: Pizza Hut Tuscani

I had the Creamy Chicken Alfredo the other night.... basically it tasted a lot like the standard Pizza Hut alfredo sauce that you'd get with the fettuccine, but with pepper added to it and baked with...

Re: Cigar tar in clipped area.

Like someone alluded to already, I think it's not really "tar", but condensation from the smoke. Burning stuff produces water as a combustion by-product.

I don't know how/why this occurs...

Re: Anybody got info on these? La Finca & Jose Mar

I think I might have a couple La Finca's lying about somewhere.....

Heck I was surprised that something that doesn't seem like a well known NC even made it to B&M's up here.

The Jose Marti's...
