Re: Show your latest NC purchase II!

The Whites are great. I've had only one Java and it was a pretty good experience - like smoking a candy bar.

We finally have outdoor cigar weather in Texas, but all I can do is stare at my humidor. I had sinus surgery at the end of July and I'm still recovering. I really wish I could relax on the back...

Re: NC with Boli PC profile?

Guys, I live in a small town..people have ways of finding out about everything...I think the mailman has something to do with that. Maybe I'm just overly paranoid. <----most likely

I'll have to...

Re: NC with Boli PC profile?

Texans hold their public educators to insanely high moral standards, particularly in small towns. It's so bad, coworkers and I have to travel into Dallas if we want to get a drink on a Friday...

Re: NC with Boli PC profile?

I seem to remember the stick being a little peppery and possibly citrus like. I definitely picked up cinnamon in the last 1/4. That cinnamon taste has haunted me since. I have not found the...

Re: NC with Boli PC profile?

The thought has crossed my mind many times, but in my line of work (education and soon educational administration), a customs seizure could be career ending.

NC with Boli PC profile?

A few years ago I was gifted a Boli PC when I received my Bachelor's degree. It was absolutely the best smoking experience I have ever had. I would like to relive the experience when I complete my...

Re: Wedding gift 'gars

I actually thought about giving him a box of AVO tubos. You know, the ones that look like, umm, marital aids. I thought that would make for an uncomfortable moment at the reception.:D

Wedding gift 'gars

I need some guidance here. I'm starting to look into cigars to gift my soon to be brother in law. He's a casual smoker; mooches off me a couple times a year. He will be more impressed with the...

Re: Show your latest NC purchase II!

No pics, but I picked up a tin of 3 Opus X for my dad yesterday. The same B&M also had Opus X "a's", but the were a bit pricey for my taste. Should be a good birthday for dad this year.

What have I missed?

A couple years ago I had to give up cigars after my son was born. I don't guess I had to give them up, but my wife provided much "encouragement." We've paid off all of the doctors and it's time to...

Re: Te-Amo question

Thanks for the replies. I had my doubts about the validity of my student's story. It was fun to see him get so worked up when telling the story of how he, an 18 year old kid from the states,...

Te-Amo question

One of my students gifted me a Te-Amo from his trip to Mexico over the Christmas break. It's a Te-Amo world selection series "Cuba blend." My student tells me it's all cuban tobacco imported and...

7 months gone

Can't believe it's been seven months since I last sat down with a cigar. I laid off the sticks when my son was born, then had to sell off most of my stash to help pay for his surgery. I still have...
