Re: CI AJ fernandez overruns?

I'm definitely going to have to order a bundle. Cheap ovals just seem like a no-brainer to me!

Re: Looking for a suggestion!

For folk's information, they're a great 4.5 x 32 size. Like smoking a cigarette, without being a fool who smokes cigarettes.

The fact that they are double-banded is somewhat annoying, however.

Re: Looking for a suggestion!

Brad, that was funny. Sad, but still kinda funny. Ha?

And Eric, that's something worth thinking about. The DPGs are from his Blue Label line.

Also, I just bid on a cab of 30 from The Devil...

Looking for a suggestion!

Can anybody recommend a cigar of respectable quality and flavor of roughly the size of the DPG Demi Tasse?

I've recently fallen in love with this particular stick, as I find it to be the perfect...

Re: What cigar did you smoke today III?

As of right now, I'm smoking a God of Fire 2006 Churchill, from 2009. I'm not super impressed with it, though the construction is impeccable. I'll update what I smoke next as the day goes on!

Re: Reposado '96?

For what it's worth (seeing as it's been over a year since the last post), the habano wrapper Reposados that I've smoked are probably the best $2.50 cigars I've ever smoked. Considering the existence...

Re: Interview

I'm currently eating lunch in anticipation of heading back to Monrovia in order to start my training at 1:00. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am!

And Dave, when I find a moment, I would...

Re: Interview

Mario,

That's the one. And it's really convenient for me.

Any interest in a quick meet-up there later this week? While I can't get you employee pricing (yet!), I can guarantee a good time :)

Re: Interview

Hey guys,

Sorry it took me so long to get back to everyone. The interview went really well, and I fully expect to start working for them in a couple days. I would be working in Shady Grove and...

Exclamation Interview

I'm sitting at Dunkin' Donuts passing the time until my 11:00 job interview at Davidus Cigars.

And I'm really nervous.

Wish me luck, boyos!!!

Re: Happy Birthday, ScottishSmoker!

Happy Birthday, Andrew! And while I can't bring myself to wish for a Yankees win, I wish for you a Yankees win with an asterisk, as it will still bring the Sox up in the standings :D :mh :D :mh

Re: What kind of paint to use on an Otterbox style humi?

BRILLIANT!!!

If only my 15 stick Herf-a-dor fulla' RP 1992 torpedos hadn't decided it preferred living in Florence, Italy to coming home with me in my suitcase...

Then I would still have all of...

Aron in Europe

Stay tuned for a complete inventory of the cigars I brought on my European adventure. Three (technically four, counting my pipes) full travel humidors for twelve weeks in Europe. Am I obsessed? Maybe...

Re: Florentine Cigar Conundrum!

I just had a Cuaba Divinos. Yum yum! Everything I love about perfectos in a miniature, Cuban format.

And now I'm having an AB Overture toro. Surprisingly, I like it just as much. Especially now...

Question Florentine Cigar Conundrum!

Hey there, ho there everybody!

Cripes, but it sure feels like a long time since I've been in my favorite tobacco-based psychiatric institution. It's good to be back :D

In any event, I was...

Re: Question about Anejos

I grabbed a 46 and a 49. After adding up the price of two of each stick, I reached a sum of roughly 130 dollars. Just a tad out of a college student's price range for ten cigars!!!

I'm waiting for...

Re: Question about Anejos

Doug, I'm fairly sure they're just plain ol' Don Carlos sticks, not God of Fire. However, I could be wrong. I'll try and swing by the store later this afternoon if I've got a second.

Re: Question about Anejos

So, while it looks like the general consensus is the 77 (big surprise there...), sadly, ABC does not carry El Shark-o! So I guess I'll be trying the 46 first. And I'll probably buy about two of each...

Question about Anejos

One of my local B&Ms just started carrying Fuente Anejos at pretty nice prices. So I was wondering if anybody had a recommendation for which one(s?) I should go for. While I would imagine they're all...

Re: Oliva V Figurado

Oh, HELL yeah! I'm definitely down for a box split.

So long as you all pay your share, and let me keep the entire box. :r :r :r

But really, that would be awesomesauce. :tu

Re: Oliva V Figurado

I actually haven't tried the robusto yet, but I believe I have one in my humi, and I'll probably put it it to the flame this weekend. Actually it will likely be earlier. But I'll report back as soon...
