Had a couple Old Nation Electron Browns over the weekend, plus a Dragon's Milk Maple Oak Reserve Saturday night. That DM was flipping awesome.

Lack of rain this summer stunted the growth of the chants I found. Only a few larger specimens. But now that I have a few spots to check, Iíll be looking again next year.

I would think the bacon would overpower the delicate taste of the chanterelle. Unfortunately chant season is over around me, otherwise I'd give this a try. Maybe if the cinnabar chants start popping...

I just used some Adam, on a grilled eggplant sandwich I made for dinner. Still spicy hot af, but rounding out the flavors after a few months nicely.

Well crap. Took a peek at my pepper ferments. The red ferment I’ve had going for almost a year has green mold on it. Into the bin it goes.

I’d say give it a shot Chayse. If you find out you don’t like them, they can become the cigars you give friends when they come over. Or better yet, donate to the troops here.

Did a suckling pig on my old offset smoker yesterday. Was 18lbs. Seasoned the cavity and injected with apple juice missed with some more rub. Used a mix of maple and cherry. Ran the smoker around avg...
