Re: Don Jorge JNV Cigars

I assume we're talking about a private insurance provider.

Insurance reimbursement is based on negotiations with the individual providers....

Re: Need to vent..

Unfortunately, you should have checked the policy before the emergency occurred. You can lay this squarely on the hospital. It's not the doctor or the insurance company. For whatever reason...

Re: Coin Collecting/Buying

Either strike is one ounce of silver. Even though the coin has a face value of $1.00, they are really worth the value of the silver content. This value fluctuates with the market, but they will...

Re: Coin Collecting/Buying

Shilaha,

Actually the proof coins themselves are not polished, but the planchets (blanks) are, along with dies. They are double struck under higher pressure, then removed and packaged by hand. ...

Re: Coin Collecting/Buying

Don't confuse the silver eagle with the quarters in your pocket. The eagle is minted as a bullion coin, and was never intended to circulate. It is is a one ounce silver coin. Remember the kuggarnd...

Re: Just got the Thompson catalog in... yikes!

Don't blame Thompson's for this. You can buy these at any gas station or convenience store. JR also sells them. Famous as well. While I can agree they aren't the best place, Thompson's hasn't...

Re: What beer or liquor are you drinking right now?

Something a little different. Maple vodka made by a small, private, local distillery named Disobedient Spirits. Not too bad. Uses local maple syrup in the distilling process. Not a heavy maple...

Re: Cigar and Whiskey 40th birthday theme

If the local stores can't help you out, most online places will sell you empty premium cigar boxes reasonably cheap. Not sure about cigars, this depends on your budget, your tastes, and how many and...

Re: 2015 MLB Thread

Let's look at the Pirates. One of the hottest teams in the league right now. Cole is one of the best pitchers in the majors right now. Burnett has been good, just didn't get much offensive support...

Re: "Junior" sized smokes

H. Upmann 1844 reserve aperitfs. Because of my job, I was looking for a small cigar to smoke, that I could do in 15 to 20 minutes, and wouldn't bum me out if I had to ditch it before I was done. ...

Re: Just got the Thompson catalog in... yikes!
