Re: Kitchen Remodel

I used to work for Bosch so I’m biased. But, Consumer Reports will tell you their dishwasher cleans very well. If you don’t buy Bosch, buy something that’s very quiet. Having a quiet dishwasher is...

Re: Prestige Import Group "The Milano" Humidor

Re: Having an Issue Don't know how to resolve it

You just want a container that’s reasonably air tight. You could use a ziplock style bag, a big mason jar, a coffee can...

It’s gonna take quite a while (weeks) to get everything stabilized....

Re: Looking for some help with a humi

The important thing is to follow the directions to correctly calibrate the hygrometer. After that, you could follow either path. If you put the The hygrometer in with the sponges, it should read...

Re: Looking for some help with a humi

Any hygrometer is measuring relative humidity so, “in theory” you should be able to use different hygrometers side by side. But, in the real world, all hygrometers have inaccuracies. For example, the...

Re: Top Maduro

This is a very old school suggestion. The maduros used in the El Rey Del Mundo (Honduran) have always been top notch. You can find them in various places but the primary source is JR. Lew Rothman,...

Re: Indoor Smoking:

I used to use an exhaust fan about like the one below. It expands to fill the window. If you have open areas in the window, the air will "short circuit" around the fan and not pull any from the room....

Re: Indoor Smoking:

If I was trying to design a system to reduce smoke smell, I would look into a heat recovery ventilator, which brings in fresh air and exhausts the stale. Here’s a Popular Mechanics article

Re: Upgrades: WineCooler/Humidor

They are calling the deadband the temperature differential. If you decrease it, you may also need to adjust the short cycle delay, since you are making the cycles shorter.

Re: Upgrades: WineCooler/Humidor

Re: Ashtray suggestions.
