Re: pnoon's what cigar did you smoke today VII?

Over the last couple days....Opus X 'A', RP SG 'A', a 14yr old CAO MX2, and a CI Orange Label. All nice cigars, especially the CAO.

Re: I had a great cigar today thanks to......

Smoked a CAO that was very nice, courtesy of Jimmy Boone aka Boonedoggle. Boone just passed away a few days ago. RIP my friend.

Re: Let's see pics of your pets. Post up pics

Sorry for the loss Vin. They become family and it's always tough to handle when it's time to say goodbye.

I'm not a huge CAO fan, but I just finished an '05-ish Cameroon lancero and it was pretty darn tasty.

Re: What was your first box purchase?

CC: I can't remember, but I bought a box of Monte #3's, PSD4's, Montecristo EL Robusto, and Cohiba Sublimes for my first boxes I think.

Re: pnoon's what cigar did you smoke today VII?

Last night I smoked a La Joya de Nicaragua Antano. It was a DC sized smoke and fairly unremarkable. Not bad, but nothing that made me want to grab another. Should've been dry boxed too, as my BnM...

Re: Humidors

I will also jump on the cooler wagon. I've got a really nice custom humidor, but I'd rather have some coolers hidden away and a nice desktop humidor for smoking out of.

Smoked some nice sticks for my b'day. HUSW, CoLa, and an OpusX pyramid. All good smokes.

Re: The "I'm tough" winter smoking thread

It's been way too crappy to smoke outside around here. If it's not muddy or rainy, it's way too windy. Luckily I can retire to the man cave for cigars though.

Re: What Is Your "Dream" Smoke?

This right here. I would've loved to smoke a stogie with my Dad, who passed when I was 23. He smoked cigs, but had smoked cigars and pipes in the past. He'd probably give me an earful for picking...

Re: What Is Your "Dream" Smoke?

A Montecristo B would be my white whale smoke I guess. I'd also take a box of everything from my birth year ('80) just because.

Re: What cigar did you smoke today VI?

Definitely score a fiver of the FSG. I've only had a few, but the ones I've had were pretty darn good. Good enough to justify the price, certainly.

Re: Favorite place to eat?

Cincinnati - The Precinct is a top notch steak house...one of the best I've ever been to
Charleston - Hall's Chophouse is also up there.
Nashville - Skull's Rainbow Room is almost like a speak easy...

Re: Favorite place to eat?

Smoked ribeye and bread pudding are top notch and their drink/wine list is pretty impressive.

Re: Favorite place to eat?

Have you been to Annie Gunn's in STL? It's an excellent steak house. Also, in Bellville, there's a bbq joint called Beast Craft and it is really good as well.

In Chicago, Trattoria No 10,...

Re: What cigar did you smoke today VI?

Last night I tried a Trinidad Santiago. Thankfully, I have no more of these.
