sounds good. I was going to bottle anyway, but I found out I can't easily bottle straight from the primary with an autosiphon and a bottling wand. Looks like I need a bottling bucket or something...

Here we are 3 weeks to the day and my gravity reading is 1.020. Should I keep waiting? Doesn't look like much has been going on in the air lock for quite a while.

that's a great idea. i may have to steal it :) what'd you use to measure a gallon? I guess I could use the 1000mL flask i have but that'd take a while to fill.

gotcha. i did add some, but i wasn't sure how much liquid i was dealing with and didn't want to bring to total over 5 gallons.

Cool. One other thing in my OG was higher then the recipe stated it should be. (I'm guessing not enough water?). Do I need to adjust the FG to know when I'm done or use what the recipe states for...

Started my first batch last week. An Irish stout. Fermentation has slowed considerably. Wondering when to start taking gravity readings. (tapping my foot impatiently)

Empire Cigars is a cigar shop in North Raleigh and right off of 540. Not too too far from CH. Great sitting / lounge area and you can byob.

I had rattlesnake a few times a long time ago. I remember it tasting like greasy chicken. Now after having pet snakes I'm not sure I could eat it. I'd rather eat cute animals.

I didn't like the robusto (or whatever they've named this size) too much, a bit too mild. The lancero (or whatever they've named this size) seemed to have much more flavor and was more full bodied.

i've got the blazer pb-207. mine crapped out (probably due to pocket lint and not keeping the cover on it), but their warranty covered it and they sent me a new one in a little more then a week.

i stream quite a bit and haven't really gone over the 1gb mark. Its usually just audio feeds I stream so I'm not sure how Slingbox viewer would affect that usage. What is it if you go over the 2gb?...
